Emily Yeh wins 2009 Leopold-Hidy Prize

Emily Yeh won the 2009 Leopold-Hidy Prize from the journal Environmental History for best journal article of the year. Emily's winning paper, "From wasteland to wetland? Nature and nation in China's Tibet," examines the social relations and politics of China's environmental policies and practices in Tibet. The prize includes a plaque and $1,000.
