As a writing instructor with EBIO, I focus on helping studentsÌýdeepen their science andÌýscientific communications skills. My central interest is in helping undergraduate students hone their writing and presenting skills, as well as gain experience withÌýreal-world genres that typifyÌýthe professional efforts of scientists. I also enjoy helping graduate students on an individual basis with specific projects and communicationsÌýskills.Ìý
In addition to my teaching background, my professional experiences have ranged from high-stakes strategic communications roles to ground-level scientific editing. I specialize in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics: renewable energy; climate change science, vulnerability, and resiliency; environmental science; engineering; and remote-sensing data.
