The women’s basketball team went 9-4 in nonconference play inÌýLinda Lappe’s (Mktg’02) first season as head coach. The Buffs lost just once at home versus a nonconference opponent to Illinois. By the end of January ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ fell to 11-8 overall and 2-4 in the Big 12 Conference.

In the Buffs’ home tournament, sophomoreÌýChucky JefferyÌýposted the first triple-double (13 rebounds, 10 points, 10 assists) by a ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ women’s basketball player since Sandy Bean in 1979.
