Kristella (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and a former recipient of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder's Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship for Diversity Program. She is a language and social interaction researcher who received her PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2022. She takes a micro-analytical approach to examining communicative practices and patterns in both educational and political contexts. She is published in Communication Monographs, Discourse Studies, Deafness & Education International, and other journals.
