You’ll need it to get into the fair.
- Get your resume together.
Haven’t updated your resume in a while? Make sure it’s in tip-top shape before the fair, and be sure to print several copies to give to potential employers. Check out for helpful resume tips.
- Dress to impress.
Plan for a business casual event. First impressions matter, so make sure to dress professionally before you meet prospective employers. Be sure to get your outfit together beforehand so that you can make sure it’s clean, ironed and ready to go.
- Review the list of employers prior to the fair.
There’s going to be a lot of companies at the fair, so maximize your time by checking out which employers you are most interested in talking to. - Attend the pre-fair workshop.
CMCI Internships will be hosting a career fair prep and resume review workshop on the same day as the fair. Topics covered include: how to prepare, what to bring, how to dress, how to interact with employers and how to follow-up with employers after the fair. RSVP on the .
