Meet Amanda McAndrew, Faculty Services Portfolio Manager. Amanda has worked as an educational technologist for several years providing various levels of training, consultation and leadership in both small and large academic institutions. She has a Masters in Educational Media from Appalachian State University and her professional interests include finding ways to encourage student interaction and engagement in and out of the classroom through the use of technology as well as other “unplugged” options. She has experience in using course management systems, clickers, and social media both as a faculty member and as an administrator. Amanda has served in the Teaching and Learning Consultants role for the past 2 years at Ƶ-Boulder where she has contributed to several ASSETT projects. For her next project, she is interested in investigating ways to support faculty teaching large lecture courses.
