Tarah Dykeman is interested in how technologies used within higher education can be better leveraged and designed to support underserved groups, and how to apply social justice approaches to UX design processes and user storytelling. Originally from Germany, Tarah received a BA in international studies from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree in English literature from ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Boulder. Today, Tarah is a user experience researcher and content strategist at the Office of Information Technology, where she works with students as users of university tools and systems. She is passionate about creating good user experiences that help remove barriers to education.
